Working with color during the Wisconsin gray and white winters brightens any day.
Especially this year with record snows in February. Working with sculptured forms with color provides a break of the continuous cleaning of snow that a northern Wisconsin artist must endure.
Whether it is 12” x 12” or maybe a 24” x 24” wood panel doesn't really matter as long you are
creating color, beautiful bold color. Inspiration can come from anything but the key is to keep it balanced with symmetry.
Design comes from impulse. Metal leaf is usually added for highlights and ritz. Not as in Ritz the cracker but in glamorous style.
